The North Sea and Decarbonization and Security of Energy Supply in Europe: Match Made in Heaven or Hastily Made Gamble?
Presentation on the regulation of renewable energy, in particular offshore wind, in the North Sea, setting out historical developments and the current legal framework. Presented my analysis of the governments' financial and regulatory decisions on offshore wind and reflected on in how far these were well thought through decisions, or whether they were surrounded by uncertainty and how effective the legal framework was connected to these decisions.
